From The Vault - Keith Lyman in “Push Process”

Keith I owe you an apology, I was unfamiliar with your game.

There’s a lot to look back on nostalgically when it comes to the late 2000’s: flat brim’s, small boards, big stances paired with even bigger Oakley stickers. It’s also safe to say there’s just as much that we’re all glad didn’t stick around.

But Keith Lyman’s part in Oakley’s 2008 video “Push Process” offers a hefty serving of nostalgic radness while managing to make the quirks of the era seem endearing in the process.

The altitude is massive, the grabs are boned, the guns are out in the sun and the dogs are out of the boots.

All of it placed on top of a song you could slip into an edgy snowboard video without anyone batting an eye.

The ender has to be the most ridiculous couch claim to ever be brought into actuality, something dreamed up amongst the haze of a skunk filled living room, whispered to him by an empty beer can that’s been on display days while he’s playing Shawn Murray’s Wakeboarding Unleashed, telling him “yea dude you can do that”.
